|  Herbal Magick works best when used in harmony with the days of the week and lunar phases. It doesn't matter if you are new to the craft or having been practicing a long time, it never hurts to brush upon the Basics.
First Quarter - ( from New Moon to Waxing Moon ) - The waxing moon represents the flower in the bud. This phase is associated with the Maiden Goddess. This phase is Beginning Growth and Creativity as the moon gets fuller. This phase is to pull Positive Changes Toward You. The waxing First Quarter Moon is to Celebrate Freedom , Growth , The Learning Process , Youth, Health , and to acknowledge you inner potential. This is the time for Positive Changes, Job Opportunities and new Friendships to be brought into your life.
Second Quarter - ( From Waxing Half - Moon to the Full Moon ) - This phase represents a flower with bud half open. This is associated with the Goddess as a " Huntress , Pathfinder , Spell Spinner , & Creator ". During this week long phase, spells come into fruition quickly. The Magickal Lunar Interlude is all about possibilities. Remember the closer to the full Moon that you caste your spells the more power & oomph your enchantments and charms will have.
Full Moon - ( The Full Moon Phase Lasts 3 Days , the NIGHT BEFORE, THE NIGHT OF, THE NIGHT AFTER ) - This represents the flower full & open and also represents the " Mother " aspect of the Goddess. The Full Moon is an All - Purpose Lunar Phase. Spells for this Phase can be , increasing psychic Powers, Wealth, Health, Abundance, Protection of the Home, Job, Marriage. Herbal Magickal Spells and Charms for Passion , Power & Love are also Complementary in this phase.
Third Quarter - ( From the second night of the Full Moon to the Waning Half - Moon ) - This is the Blossom starting to fade. Even though the Blossom is still lovely, the energy of the plant is turning inward. This is associated with the Goddess in her " Dark / Kick Ass " phase. When the moon is in the waning phase its time to Banish Fears, Push Away Illnesses, and to smoothly dissolve relationships or Friendships that you have out grown. Work magick in the 3rd quarter to remove Depression , disease , negativity and anything that obstructs you or any troubles you may be having.
Fourth Quarter - ( from the Waning Half - Moon to the Dark Moon ) - Now the Blossom has turned to seed. The Waning Moon is associated with the Goddess of the Crone. wise & compassionate Spiritual Warrior. This Lunar Phase is good to Neutralize another persons Manipulative spells. Cast spells now to push away and release or to Banish problems this is the time for extreme protection spells , Binding , Banishing, and keeping stalkers, criminals, and prowlers away.
